This is just about the simplest stocking hat pattern you will find. I have written the pattern so that you get to choose whether you use straight needles or circular needles. Regardless of the method you choose, both hats knit up super fast and can be easily adapted to most worsted weight yarns. Best yet, they look absolutely adorable in photos.

Sizing is given for newborn to 12 months. The minimum skills required is knowledge of standard two-needle knitting, sewing seams, and the ability to make an I-cord.
